Jun 2, 2014 - At first glance it can be difficult to determine exactly which VPN protocol was created in OS X's Network system preference. Ah, but with a.
Hi there, we have a user in house on a hybrid setup, who was previously able to use the vpn client without fault when on yosemite, after the hotfix. User is running Mac OS X El Captain up to date, with Windows Parallels 11. However, when now configuring the set-up (should be setting a default setting) he's now unable to change the port from 691 which mac auto configures. This seems to be an application issue as its a client mac shouldn't be able to reconfigure the port. I would give the error, however the Error shown is completely blank, when trying to configure the port and when it fails on trying to save. It just defaults back to 691.
We've tried un-installing and re-installing but the same error persists. We've tried creating a new profile, but this doesn't allow us top configure anything at all. Has anyone else received this issue? We also have another user, again on El Captain 10.11 Mac OS X, who is unable to install the client, even bypassing security features, it states: 'Mac OS X is unable to open the installation file. Please contact your system administrator'. Some help would be massively appreciated.
